IT Project manager skills:
The Project Manager will be involved in planning, organizing, and managing resources, commitments, activities, and communications to bring about the successful completion of Digital Transformation Program goals and objectives.
This person will be responsible to achieve all of the project goals and objectives while honoring preconceived project constraints and methods. They will effectively manage stakeholders, scope, time, and budget.
IT Project manager ResponsibilitIes in the company:
- Delivering a solution to the customer using the appropriate business measurements and terms and conditions for the project according to the project charter, project agreement, or contract.
- Managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables, which includes applying techniques for planning, tracking, change control, and risk management.
- Managing all project resources, including subcontractors, and for establishing an effective communication plan with the project team, the customer and other stakeholders.
- Being able to effectively communicate resource needs and project issues with the project management team as well as managers
- Understanding the department/project mission within the context of business unit mission and applying this understanding in project activities
- Displaying correct use of project management disciplines and tools to team members throughout the lifecycle of the project
- Actively supporting the set-up of working procedures and infrastructure
- Providing project management business guidance to team members throughout the duration of the project
- Having the ability to manage and motivate team members.
Project manager knowledge Skills, Qualification and Abilities:
- The position is based on-site in Riyadh, KSA
- Proven track record of managing or leading a project team
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Arabic language a plus
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management paradigms
- Familiarity with user-centered design practices
- Understanding of Telecom Industry and Digital Transformation
- Flexibility to be present both in-person and on-line as conditions dictate
- An individual should be highly self-motivated with the ability to motivate and lead a project team
- Positive and professional attitude
- People Management or Team Leadership Experience
- ITIL Service Management qualification helpful
- 5-7 years Project management experience
- University Graduate preferred
